Unlicensed Medicines Account Manager - Small/Medium Pharma Company - National Role - £Competitive

The Company

Our client is a well-established wholesale medicines and supplies company with offices around the world. Their main remit is currently wholesale exports, but they are keen to develop the business and grow their presence in unlicensed medicines in hospitals across the UK. They are looking to recruit their first Hospital focused Account Manager to begin this next phase of their business expansion.


The Role

  • In this role as an Unlicensed Medicines Account Manager, you will be promoting to Contracts Managers in secondary care nationwide.
  • You will be promoting a portfolio of unlicensed medicines across a variety of therapy areas.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for the whole of the UK, but the key accounts will be in London.
  • You will smoothly manage any issues with drugs shortages.
  • You will build up a strong network and ensure you are a competent and valuable account manager.
  • You will both account manager and grow new business.



  • To be considered for interview you MUST have an existing network in place of Contracts Managers in hospitals. The larger the geographical reach of your network, the better!
  • It is highly desirable that you will have experience exporting unlicensed medicines, but this is not essential.
  • You will ideally live in the South East or be able to commute easily to London. However, any location can be considered depending on the strength of your network with Contracts Managers.
  • You will have a positive personality and be friendly, adaptable and keen to be part of a successful team.
