Which area do you specialise in?

I specialise in mid to senior level appointments across all disciplines within the Market Access / HEOR field. I manage roles both on the permanent and interim basis. 

How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

First and foremost, we are kept up to date by speaking day in, day out to candidates and clients alike - information from an internal perspective is highly valuable to us in terms of gauging how best to approach resourcing. Reading industry press and engaging in online discussions certainly keeps us on top of wider topics. 

What's your favourite film and why?

I have many favourite films: Home Alone at Christmas time, any James Bond films (especially Skyfall) for a bit of action but, ultimately, I LOVE How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. Maybe not the best film ever but one that reminds me of really good times with all my best friends. 

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I have yet to find anything that keeps my young daughter still and engaged for over 5 minutes, so my invention would be a remote control-style device that allows me to pause her in time - allowing me to make and enjoyably drink a full cup of tea with no distractions!

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?

One of my little fingers is 7mm shorter than the other!


The Role

Senior Principal, Market Access. Global Commercialisation company. Boston or New York. £negotiable + bonus & package. An amazing opportunity to take responsibility for this organisations West Cost Commercialization function.


The Company

This Senior Principal role sits within the Global commercialisation/consulting function of a wider Pharma/Healthcare research services firm. The business benefits from being a recognisable name in the field who offer services across the Pharma lifecycle from early phase to late phase and launch. Whilst this role will oversee the companies West Coast commercialization function, the incumbent will be based out of Boston or New York.


The Role

In position as Senior Principal, you will be responsible for providing leadership and expertise across the company's Market Access and P&R function. This will include occasional travel. Duties will include:

  • Delivering robust Value strategies

  • Designing Pricing & Market Access infrastructure and processes

  • Leading on robust quantitative research and analysis

  • Working with Global departmental leads to devise and implement strategic direction in line with company values and performance expectations

  • Conducting effective business development and maximising networking opportunities to generate new business and increase repeat business

  • Line management of experienced consulting teams

  • Taking a lead on Project delivery and acting as a point of escalation as required

  • Extensive communications with internal and external stakeholders



To ensure a successful application to this Senior Principal role, you MUST demonstrate:

  • Extensive employment experience in a Healthcare Consulting capacity where delivering projects to a high standard has been expected

  • Concrete understanding of Strategic Market Access systems at Global (mostly US) level

  • Proven achievement in meeting financial sales targets - both new BD and repeat business from an existing network

  • Experience in direct Staff Management

  • Experience working to develop and implement wider business strategy

  • Academic qualification within the Sciences
