What's your favourite film and why?

Probably Leon. 12-year-old Natalie Portman learns how to become an assassin from Jean Reno, who has a strange relationship with a potted plant and tries to kill the drug fuelled Gary Oldman. Brilliantly over-the-top.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

Lightsabers – need I say more?

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?

I formed a record label with a few friends at 18, which expanded massively, and went on to host stages at a couple of national festivals. I realise how valuable it was at the time, but networking with key industry figures and musicians was crucial. Our artists quickly grabbed attention and are currently on tour across Europe. As a huge music aficionado, it’s fantastic knowing we’ve pushed them to that level. Looking back, it’s the same in any industry – networking, knowing your industry leaders, and attending national and international events is key.

Strategic Marketing Planner - New York City - $100-$120k

This rapidly growing independent healthcare communications agency is looking for a Strategic Planner to join their expanding New York office. They work with a strong, and constantly growing, portfolio of clients and manage campaigns on both a regional and global level. International presence, with US and UK offices

The Role

As a Strategic Marketing Planner you will be an integral part of the Strategic Team, taking ownership of discrete projects, managing clients and generating profitable business, working across several areas.

  • Designing, developing and delivering customer insight work, translating outputs into strategic plans

  • Developing brand strategy and brand plans

  • Project Management - ensuring projects are delivered on time, to budget, and are of the highest quality

  • Investigating and assessing multichannel marketing performance

  • Briefing junior team members and helping to manage their outputs



This Strategic Marketing Planner role is an opportunity to join a vibrant, growing agency, where you will be able to make an instant impact. As a Strategic Marketing Planner you will have:

  • Degree Level Qualifications (ideally business or biosciences focused)

  • Previous experience of strategic planning processes and developing brand plans

  • Previous healthcare or pharmaceutical experience

  • An inquisitive nature - with the ability to research and an openness to learning and change

  • A passion for developing and discussing your own ideas, connecting with new people
