Carrot Pharma Recruitment are working on behalf of one of the UK's leading Clinical Service providers to recruit an experienced Pharmacist to work field based throughout the West Midlands region.


The Company

Working closely with the NHS my client provides Clinical Support Services to both primary and secondary care services working closely with CCG's and NHS Trusts throughout the UK. Working in collaboration with the Pharmaceutical Industry my client offers bespoke services which focus on optimising patient care and ensuring NHS resources are being fully utilised.


The Role

As Clinical Pharmacist you will work in close partnership with GP Practices and Hospitals to evaluate patient care and medication reviews with a focus on long terms conditions such as COPD, Diabetes, Osteoporosis and Stroke prevention in Atrial Fibrillation (AF). You will also be responsible for working with services to review internal processes, carry out audits and cost saving projects. Working field based you will work with variety of patient groups and professionals allowing you to draw upon your experience whilst developing a more in-depth clinical knowledge in a wide range therapeutic area.



To be considered for this role applicants must:

  • Be a UK Registered Pharmacist ideally with 2 years post registration experience
  • Full UK Drivers Licence with a willingness to travel extensively throughout the West Midlands.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships
  • Have experience within Atrial Fibrillation is desirable although not essential
