The Role

Programme Coordinator- Med Comms Division of an International CRO - West Sussex - Up to £30k

Brilliant opportunity for a candidate with account/ project management experience to join an international CRO's med comms division. This role will involve supporting the client services team in the project management of a variety of deliverables, including publications, events and medical education for high profile pharma clients. This role will involve ensuring all projects are carried out to deadline, budget and the highest possible quality of work.


The Company

This international Clinical Research Organisation is in need of a Programme Coordinator to join their well-established Medical Communications team. This role will offer the ideal candidate the chance to join an international, well-respected company which offers a client-side environment. This company offers:

The Role

This Programme Coordinator role will involve providing project coordination to the accounts team in order to ensure projects are carried out efficiently and effectively in lines with time scale, quality and budget. The role will involve the following key responsibilities:

  • Tracking deadlines

  • Tracking budgets

  • Setting up and preparing meetings

  • Taking minutes

  • Providing status updates

  • Liaising with internal departments

  • Organising travel



To apply for this role as a Programme Coordinator, our client was hoping for applicants with the following skills and experiences.

  • Previous medical communications agency experience is desirable, however previous marketing or PR support would also be advantageous.

  • Industry experience as either an Account Executive or Project support, coordination or administration type roles.

  • Client facing experience and strong communication skills are a must.

  • Good IT skills- including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Good financial skills & understanding/ business acumen/ budget tracking

I love films, so there's far too many to choose from! If I had to pick one it would probably be the Harry Potter series. 

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I'd invent a machine that made me a coffee as soon as I woke up - that would make getting out of bed much easier!
