The main way in which I keep up-to-date with issues is through constantly speaking with my client and candidate network and through industry relevant news and articles. 

What's your favourite film and why?

I'm definitely much more of a boxset type of person. I have a very low attention span for films - I'm currently going through the Vikings series and I love it! 

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

A teleporting device where I could be in any country in the world within as short a time as possible. Love to travel but dislike the actual travelling element!

Manager Commercial Strategy & Implementation - Global Healthcare Company - £Competitive Salary

This exciting new opportunity will be responsible for supporting and leading the commercial & category strategy and delivering the trade objectives for a selection of categories across all trade channels. These in turn will then be translated into tactics for the sales team to execute and deliver upon. This opportunity requires a high calibre candidate who is driven by success and has a strong commercially focused background.

The Role

This opportunity involves working to set out a clear commercial and category strategy and translating this into the tactics that the sales team need to execute. The role involves the following key responsibilities:

  • Supporting the process to define where to play and what it takes to win for the categories and brands within remit.
  • Assisting in the design of the toolkit that enables the commercial team (CS&I and Account Managers) to deliver the commercial strategy & tactics.
  • Be the category expert in relevant categories, using insight to shape internal strategy and deliver results externally.
  • Tracking of Sales fundamentals (share of shelf, share of SKU, display) for relevant categories, and development of plans to improve
  • Lead the commercial input for relevant existing brands and NPD in the stage gate and budgeting process, providing customer, category and shopper input into brand plans.

 

You

To apply for this role as a commercial strategy and implementation manager our client is hoping for someone with the following skills and experience:

  • 6 years in the field
  • 2 years supervisory experience
  • University degree or equivalent.
  • In depth knowledge of practice & principles within their field and broad understanding of how it impacts other fields in their discipline.
