Teleportation! I would teleport to the beach in Fiji for an hour on my lunch break, teleport back home to my parent's house for dinner every night and go elephant trekking, skiing or on safari just for the weekend.

I lived in Spain for a year and worked for a summer in Gibraltar and learnt to speak Spanglish.

Senior Regional Business Manager, Global Pharma Company, South & West Yorkshire, Highly Competitive Financial Package

 

The Company

Our client is a global company that provides pharmaceutical products across various specialist therapy areas as well as general medicine. They have an excellent portfolio of ground breaking products that have had a huge positive impact on patients' lives. They also have a fantastic pipeline of innovative products and now seek a strategic Senior Regional Business Manager to join their growing cardiovascular team.

 

The Role

This role involves managing an experienced team of Key Account Managers and field-based Market Access Managers.

  • You will motivate, coach and develop your team to reach their maximum performance and potential.

  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams including market access, marketing and medical to ensure appropriate technical expertise in support of your strategic account plans.

  • You will develop and implement the regional business plan for your team, informed by local health economy plans and priorities.

  • You will manage resource allocation of people and P&L, ensuring you will deliver and excel against your financial objectives.

  • You will align your strategy to include relevant policy guidance and formulary approvals, ensuring a positive access environment for your product.

 

You

  • You will have 5-10 years' experience managing a specialist KAM team and enjoy coaching and developing a top performing team to optimum success.

  • You will ideally have experience managing a Market Access team, or you will have extensive experience in a market access position yourself.

  • You will be able to demonstrate your strategic leadership via an impressive portfolio of successes in your business planning and previous strategic input.

  • You will have ideally had experience in marketing or working closely with marketing, or perhaps in an SFE role.

  • This role suits a career driven, commercial candidate looking for a highly strategic Regional Business Manager role within a Global Pharma company.

  • You must have the ABPI.
