A retained search exclusively engages a single recruitment agency for a specific assignment. A portion of the fee is charged up front (engagement fee), and the balance is paid when the project is completed successfully. This commitment and trust from the client allows us to focus almost entirely on your assignment, to spread our net wider and to commit more resource towards successful completion of the assignment. Typically, we’d agree a set timeframe around the assignment and a service level agreement before setting out on conducting a full candidate mapping exercise to hone-in on suitable talent in the market. Strong communication and transparency between both parties is crucial to the success of retained assignments.
