Dear Joe, I felt compelled to write a few (well quite a few!) words to thank you for your hard work, diligence, tenacity and refreshingly professional approach to finding my new role. From your initial approach through LinkedIn, the phone call the day after as arranged and moving on through the process of interviewing me, getting to know what I would like in a new role and matching this perfectly with the requirements of your client, your communication has been above and beyond what I have experienced with any other recruitment agency. When you said you would call, you did, when there was an update on the progress of my application, you called and let me know what was happening, when the process stalled (this was out of your hands - a small delay from the client side), you explained why this was happening and honestly reassured me that you were in contact with your client and it would work out. It did! If I was to sum up your approach in a few key words, it would be: Integrity, Honesty, Tenacity, Friendliness, Professionalism, Knowledge, Pragmatism, Bravery One or two of the above key words may make you scratch your head, however, these are all relevant from the partnership you formed with me to seek out, find and secure a superb new role. I have not put in the words ‘super salesman’, which you are, as these words can put candidates off, however, your approach is not (thankfully) that of a ‘typical’ senior level recruiter, it is far more personal and intelligently delivered. It works for both your client and me clearly. You ask the right questions, at the right time and have never come across as ‘pushy’, more wishing to help and providing guidance as required. This is incredibly ‘refreshing’ and appreciated. I certainly feel that your style is one that should be emulated across your organisation, and if the general recruitment industry opened their ears to how you have conducted yourself, they could 1. Learn a lot about best practice 2. Vastly improve on their treatment of candidates (yes, we are human beings and not just a bonus and ring of the ‘deals bell’! 3. Lose some of the bad reputation that many I have dealt with have deserved. I have previously used a scale of customer satisfaction, which I know you will be familiar with, called NPS. You get a ‘10’. I will definitely recommend you to friend’s, family and colleagues. Thank you so much for working in partnership with me to get the best possible role and keep up the great work. I wish you and Carrot Pharma great and continued, well deserved success.
