A Territory Manager (sometimes known as a Territory Sales Manager) helps to increase the sales revenue of a product / products while maintaining customer relationships across a particular geographical location.

How to get into the role of Territory Manager:
Most companies will start you out in a Graduate Territory Manager position. This will help you break into the world of medical sales - so if you've got a life sciences degree (and ideally a bit of sales experience) this will be your starting point.
As with any Sales role, career progression is ultimately down to individual performance. From a Territory Manager position, you'll most likely progress into a Regional or National Sales Manager role. Team Leader job opportunities may also be up for grabs.
